The radiation sensor serves the supervision of UV irradiance in the area between 220 and 320 nm. The sensor casing is made of quartz glass and has a dimension of 8 x 54 mm. The installed photo sensor consists of silicon carbide and therefore has outstanding qualities for the monitoring of mercury/quicksilver radiators without needing optical filters. The sensor can be connected to evaluation units type DUV or to measurement amplifiers type MUV.
