Increasingly for reasons of stability metall-glass seals are made of stainless steel - and where even that is not sufficient - are manufac-tured of Titanium and Tantalum, in order to be able to operate with sensors in aggressive environment. That succeeds with protective atmospheres, which are kept particularly pure and constant in quartz tube furnaces or in the continuous furnace. Multipolar pin or tube feed throughs can be realized in single sealing, in coaxial arrangement, and in a common glass body as group.
