The company IL Metronic Sensortechnik GmbH was founded in 1992 and uses the long-standing experiences of the predecessor company IMA GmbH (formely Mikroelektronik or Elektroglas Ilmenau respectively).
The company develops, produces and sales sensors, sensor modules and eletronic devices as well as special glass feed throughs.
Among the 36 employees of IL Metronic Sensortechnik GmbH are 14 graduated engineers and 22 qualified laboratory assistants and skilled workers. This personell structure shows the innovative orientation of the company.
The work on research projects in the field of moisture measurements, touchless temperature measurements and UV measurements shows our innovative work. We are working on cooperate projects with for example Ilmenau Technical University, CiS Institute for Mikrosensors Erfurt, IPHT Jena, Bremen Technical University, Fraunhofer-Institute for physical measurements in Freiburg/Breisgau and others.
